I love your manifesto. A truth teller stands for your truth and knows it’s worth recognizing and sharing.

A truth teller also honors others truths and perspectives and doesn’t need to prove their truth is the right one. Because they know deep down this is their truth as best as they understand it right now in this moment. 🫶

A truth teller can also be internal with seeds of awareness sprouting so you can tend and care for them. 🌱

Megan, do you talk about how to handle others’ reactions to your writing when they are included in the story? For example, writing about childhood trauma and mentioning your parents who are still living and will not like you talking about it. 😬 Love Riley joining your video!

Hi Camden, great question! I talk more about how to recognize that fear as a trauma response and how to care for yourself while writing about it in the chapter, Find Your Edges. In this chapter about being a truth- teller, I share about the importance of boundaries so that you can write about the hard things with freedom. So, it’s less about what to do after the fact and more about how to set yourself up well before that happens.
