I, too, had to make peace with leaving questions unanswered around my sexual trauma, after years of toiling over "how much was my fault" and "how much was their fault", etc. The answer is, it doesn't matter; all pain deserves to be healed, regardless of how it got there. I'm soooo sorry that you had to experience that level of 'spiritual bypassing', neglect and spiritual abuse... It would and does wound many to the point they turn from this v distorted and controlling image of Christ. That you for your honesty and spiritual integrity!
